Our volunteers, also known as “Chamber Ambassadors” are given an insider perspective in the ins and outs of our business community and are often in the forefront of exclusive announcements and events here in Winnipeg.
The Chamber offers our Ambassadors three important things:
1. Professional Development
Our ambassadors are business owners or business leaders looking for a new challenge. As an ambassador you’ll be taken in on the daily operations of your Chamber. Find out what it takes to run our many events and small business programming.
2. Engagement opportunities
You’ll be an extension of Chamber staff by being the first to welcome new members at our Chamber 101s and volunteering at our various events like our State of the City luncheon, Small Business Forums or our annual Chamber Golf Classic.
3. A fun time
We work hard but above all, we have fun. As you’re busy growing your leadership skills and contributing to the success of your Chamber, you’ll watch your network grow with like-minded entrepreneurs and businesses from different sectors. We’ll bring you all together for an annual Wine and Cheese celebration with our staff and Chamber board.
