Get your holiday shopping done with The Winnipeg Chamber

November 27, 2019

Picture this: it’s December 21st, 2019, the last Saturday before Christmas. The snowy streets are jam-packed with last-minute shoppers, all frantically shopping mall-bound to get their holiday shopping done in time.

You, however, are safe and warm inside, curled up on your couch with a warm cup of hot chocolate, because you got all of your shopping done at The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Forum just a few days earlier on December 18th.

Doesn’t that sound nice?

Around 20 vendors are expected to be set up with their products for sale, making this Small Business Forum the perfect opportunity to pick up all of your last-minute stocking stuffers and gifts.

Here are 10 local vendors that will be in attendance:

Bee Boyzz Honey

Family owned and operated, you’ll find the Bee Boyzz Honey apiary in Oak Bluff, Manitoba. With a variety of flavoured honey options like maple, espresso, cinnamon, and chocolate, as well as bottled liquid honey, bee pollen and beeswax candles, Bee Boyzz Honey’s products are all natural and homegrown.

Bones and Marrow Broth Company

When the weather outside is frightful, a warm cup of delicious and nourishing bone broth is the answer. Bones and Marrow’s signature ‘Bare Bones Broth’ is a small batch blend of naturally-raised grass-fed beef and chicken, seasoned with veggies and herbs, but if you want to kick things up a notch, you can get the broth with ginger, roasted garlic, mushroom, or chili oil.

The Canadian Birch Company

With a birch estate above the shores of Lake Winnipeg’s south basin, The Canadian Birch Company has access to the world’s most pristine birch forests, producing richly flavoured natural syrups. With three distinct varieties of syrup – dark, amber, and amber gold – discover the mouth-watering gift from Manitoba’s birch trees this holiday season.

Gourmet Inspirations

Take any dish from tired to tempting with one of Gourmet Inspiration’s seven exquisite sauces. Carefully crafted using locally sourced ingredients, sweet sauces like Prairie Berry or Salted Caramel Whiskey will elevate desserts, while savoury sauces like Sweet and Spicy Lemon and Creamy Peppercorn Whiskey will spice up dinner in a matter of seconds.

Mugging Whales Premium Coffee Co.

Selecting only single origin coffees that are as unique as the countries they come from, Mugging Whales brings the warmth of premium java from places like Costa Rica, Guatemala, Kenya, and Panama, right here to Winnipeg.

GORP

Sourcing only high-quality ingredients and eliminating cheap fillers like high fructose corn syrup, GORP has been a local favourite since 2012 and offers its signature all-natural energy bars, as well as an energy bar mix to make your own at home, and an oatmeal blend.

Sweet C Bakery

Whatever your sweet tooth is craving, chances are pretty good that Sweet C Bakery will be able to satisfy it. From elaborate custom cakes, to chocolate covered Oreos, cupcakes and cookies, this local bakery has something for everyone on your list.

Utoffea

Just as good on its own as it is on top your favourite dessert, Utoffea’s handcrafted toffee has been called the very best in Canada. Gluten-free to boot, Utoffea just recently released a dark chocolate variation of its beloved recipe, so get it while it lasts!

Rasa Holistic

Specializing in all-natural nutrition and healing, Rasa Holistic carries a range of products like infused ghee, a digestive chew, specialty oils, and tea blends.
