Immigrant CentreThe mission of Immigrant Centre is to provide services allowing newcomers to fully participate in Canadian society.This includes providing immigrants with language skills, employment services, banking services, and much more. |

Manitoba Interfaith Immigration CouncilThe Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council provides a residence known as Welcome Place. Welcome Place is a refugee’s first home upon entering the country. From there, they can begin their search for a more permanent home. |

Holy Names House of PeaceThis is not just a building, it’s a community where women transitioning to Canada can feel like they belong.Female newcomers can call House of Peace home for up to two years while being provided a place for prayer and reflection. |

For over a decade, The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and Volunteer Manitoba have partnered together to offer Leadership Winnipeg, a 10-session leadership program (plus class project), which runs from September through June. The program provides experiences that inspire and help individuals to develop an understanding of themselves, their community and their role within it.
